摘要: This paper offers an empirical account of the engagement and success nonprofits in contracting for elderly care China Netherlands as two contrasting contexts. While innovation demonstrates a state-centered approach China, its Dutch counterpart has sought balance between state professional influences. The argues that public sector reforms, civil society development social regulation support schemes contextualize care. Surveys among managers 176 organizations Shanghai 70 shows fundamental elements nonprofit are strikingly similar both contexts, although their manifestation is shaped by each specific institutional context.
