摘要: Chitosan is among the most studied biopolymers and offers important advantages, such as biodegradability, biocompatibility nontoxicity. In this study, polysaccharide was grafted onto poly(3-hydroxybutyrate) using simultaneous gamma-irradiation-initiated polymerization method. The polyester immersed in diverse solvents, which allowed preparation of graft copolymers with different yields crystallinities. A successful synthesis estimation degree crystallinity were verified by spectroscopic calorimetric techniques. suitable method found to be thermoanalytical approach because it displayed a linear relationship between increasing grafting. results also indicated that lowest grafting seen for acetic acid (14.27%), while highest corresponded ethyl acetate (32.11%). mechanism proposed on basis experimental results.
