摘要: The removal of lead ions from aqueous solutions by adsorption on nonliving Penicillium chrysogenum biomass was studied. Biosorption the Pb(+2) ion strongly affected pH. Within a pH range 4 to 5, saturated sorption uptake 116 mg/g dry biomass, higher than that activated charcoal and some other microorganisms. At 4.5, P. exhibited selectivity for over metal such as Cd(+2), Cu(+2), Zn(+2), As(+3) Sorption preference metals decreased in following order: Pb > Cd Cu Zn As. remained unchanged presence Cu(+2) As(+3), it increased Cd(+2).
