摘要: Amino-functinonalized carbon fibers were achieved via electron-beam (EB) irradiation in Diethylenetriamine (DETA) solution and triethylene tetramine (TETA) at 200 kGy. Different graft monomer concentrations investigated to find the optimal concentration of each monomer. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy, scanning electron microscopy, Raman spectroscopy applied investigate chemical composition functional groups, topography disorder degree amino-functionalized surface. Meanwhile, adsorption ability interfacial adhesion between modified epoxy resin determined by TGA interlaminar shear strength (ILSS). It is found that which had rougher more active surface performed better on than untreated fibers. The ILSS values fiber (treated with DETA TETA) reinforced composites 21.37 MPa 18.28 MPa, much higher composites. comprehensive results demonstrated this condition, grafting both TETA 1.5 mol/L. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
