摘要: Abstract 1 A new method of backward trajectory analysis for planthopper migration is presented. The consists two components: an advanced weather forecast model, MM5, simulation, and a model calculation. simulates wind fields in which trajectories are calculated by the model. 2 It assumed that planthoppers, Sogatella furcifera Nilaparvata lugens, transported at speeds directions. evaluated using event observed Chikugo Japan on 25 June 1969, was recorded hourly catch data. 3 The results indicate takeoff responsible occurred 21 UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) 23 along coastal region Fujian province China. This first time source this has been accurately identified. Determinations migrating duration height also consistent with observations. 4 Although landing process not considered it shown able to simulate estimate various parameters. study shows importance high-quality simulation.
