摘要: The amount of disordered material in two types hardwood kraft pulps was estimated by determining the weight loss at point where levelling-off degree polymerisation (LODP) reached. used were commercial viz (1)one conventional birch and (2)one mixed (MHW) pulp that had been prehydrolysed prior to cooking. results indicated hemicellulose xylan is closely associated with cellulose pulps. It therefore only possible use LODP as a measure crystallite length highly purified pulps, such pulp. A model explaining LODP-results proposed.
