摘要: In the previous papers, we hypothesized that there could be an intracellular calcium deficit in early phase of Alzheimer's disease (AD). present study, consider, from this point view, several long-lasting questions about AD, which include: why plaques and tangles are only found brain; aging is primary risk factor; presenilins so vulnerable disease; AD affects most delicate function brain. Although discrepancies alternative views exist many aspects it came to our attention hypothesis perhaps offer a reasonable coherent explanation, at least part, such by known biochemical principles. Based on analyses, discuss some controversies therapeutic strategies.
