Stakeholder participation in evaluation design: Is it worth the effort?

摘要: Abstract Using a utilization-oriented participatory evaluation case study methodology, this research project is investigating (a) the hypothesized link between participation and use, (b) theoretical operational dimensions of evaluation, (c) possible conflicts use quality within approaches to evaluation. This paper reports on design phase two evaluations being conducted in cooperation with small local human service agencies. The process used described, nature meaningfulness stakeholder reviewed. A concluding assessment value yields qualified “yes.”
