摘要: Er3+ doped Nb2O5–TeO2 (NT) glass suitable for developing optical fiber laser and amplifier has been fabricated characterized. Intense broad 1.53 μm infrared fluorescence visible upconversion luminescence were observed under 975 nm diode 798 excitation. For emission band, the full width at half-maximum is 51 nm, lifetime 2.6 ms, quantum efficiency ∼100%. The maximum cross section 8.52×10−21 cm2 1.532 μm, higher than values in silicon phosphate glasses. Under excitation, efficient 531, 553, 670 emissions are due to two-photon absorption processes. “standardized” green light 9.5×10−4, this value comparable that reported Er3+/Yb3+ codoped fluoride NT can be used color display, undersea communication, sensor.
