摘要: Desertification is the result of natural and anthropogenic processes, leading to degradation or loss land’s productivity complexity. To assess desertification status, integrated set indicators must be identified. Indicators provide synthetic information on threshold levels, status evolution relevant physical, chemical, biological processes. Multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) a collection methodologies compare, select, rank multiple alternatives that involve incommensurate attributes. Technique for order preference by similarity ideal solution (TOPSIS) method criteria identify solutions from finite set. TOPSIS an algorithm determining most preferable choices among possible can developed. The aim this paper introduce as selection integration indicators. simulation case study presented here related best monitor land remote sensing in three different countries (Brazil, Mozambique Portugal), within framework defined DesertWatch Extension project.
