摘要: Quality control is of great importance in food industry, both for the evaluation product characteristics and to avoid occurrence foreign bodies contamination packaged items. With respect inspections against possible contaminants inside product, different technologies are currently adopted along production chain lines. However, number accidents involving low density objects remains very large. To overcome this limitation, use electromagnetic has been recently proposed. In work, synergic terahertz microwaves proposed, so provide high resolution images in-depth scenarios, including materials. A focus study on sugar samples considered, reporting its broadband characterization at preliminary imaging evaluate integrity packaging. Ongoing research devoted development validation a microwave device monitoring products line.
