摘要: This paper presents a new concept that has been developed to define high performance multimedia data transfers between communicating entities. All current protocols use either connectionless (Cl) or connection-oriented (Co) approaches and many mechanisms have proposed in each case. Both sets of present Cl co are not conceptually related there is design gap the definition these two families. A concept, partial order connection (Poc), defined here. It will be seen Co specific cases much more general presented More precisely, Poc an end-to-end provides service where objects can delivered users different from transmitted order. first shown how this emerged what its interests terms resources. Then formal reliable unreliable Pocs way measure their complexity given. such generalized used time constraints handled integrated way, leading space for protocols.
