摘要: Abstract Particulate matter (PM), including PM 10 and 2.5 , is one of the major impacts on air quality, visibility, climate change, earth radiation balance, public health. Organic carbon (OC) elemental (EC) are components PM. 804 samples (PM ) were simultaneously collected from six urban sites covering 3 districts in Baotou, January, April, September, November 2014. As to a long-term study effects carbonaceous aerosol, data annually at Environmental Protection Agency Baotou (EPB). The concentrations spatial distribution content OC EC, relationship between formation secondary organic (SOC) have been investigated. findings indicated that these particle higher than US or European standards. average follow order: January > April September; for EC September April. Affected by metrological factors, it was high wind speed low relative humidity beneficial removal November. Pearson correlations cluster analysis with gaseous pollutants (SO 2 NO CO) suggested shared same emission sources SO CO combustion, while EC's mainly came vehicles exhaust combustion which contributed as well. concentration primary warm months, appears cold months Baotou. There common characteristic among cities SOC winter, wherever coal can lead severe pollution. This work important construction database time intervals, provide scientific suggestion similar atmospheric pollutant control quality improvement
