摘要: The photocatalytic oxidative degradation and discoloration of the reactive dye was investigated. Along with photochemical oxidation process, sonochemical effect also used. Experiments were performed in slurry mode both UV solar light at optimized conditions. Degradation observed 88% under conditions, i.e., pH 4.8, TiO2 = 0.3 g L−1 oxidant dose after 180 min. sonophotocatalytic treatment enhanced up to 94% parameters treatment. results obtained quite appreciable as confirmed from reduction COD 280 36 mg L−1. showed that it could be used efficient environmental friendly technique for complete recalcitrant organic pollutants will increase chances reuse wastewater.
