摘要: Abstract This study utilizes sugar beet pulp as a low-cost absorbent to remove two different cationic dyes, methylene blue and safranin, in aqueous solutions. The effects of operational parameters on the efficiency dye removal including pH, adsorbent mass, initial concentration contact time have been investigated. All sets experiments were carried out batch mode. For both maximum absorption was reached at pH 10 while point zero charge known be 6. Boehm method showed that amount acidic basic groups 0.4075 mmol g−1 0.0089 mmol g−1, respectively. Freundlich Langmuir models used analyse obtained experimental data. In comparison, model understood better fit for data than model. Pseudo first-order pseudo second-order determine adsorption kinetics it observed most suited dyes. equilibrium state dyes after 210 min experiment with more 93% capacities found 211 mg/g 147 mg/g
