摘要: Human capabilities in manual materials-handling activities may be influenced by a number of task variables. The psychophysical method Snook (1978) was used to determine the effects load and lifting frequency upon workloads selected eight male soldiers. subjects repeatedly lifted lowered box (38 × 55 24 cm) from platform set at 40% stature for 10 minutes either adjusted load, or frequency, combination both variables order select workload which they considered maximum acceptable (MAWL) work-period one hour. When adjusted, mean MAWL 94·5 kg m min −1 (S.D. 28·4). This significantly greater (P ≤ 0·05) 27% than when alone (74·3 −1, S. D. 23·3).
