摘要: The results of an instrumented pile load test program, including uplift and compression tests, are presented. purpose the is to determine ultimate bearing skin friction design parameters. Vibrating wire strain gauges mounted on steel H-piles allow measurement transfer behavior along length. Residual driving stresses their distribution also measured. Measured end-bearing found vary significantly depending whether or not residual accounted for in analyses data. reduced significantly, but completely, after one two cycles. Since conditions transient earthquake loads, which likely change from those noted piles, it necessary account interpretation results.
