摘要: Abstract The effect of crack's orientation on the twin formation from crack tip in γ′-Ni3Al has been studied by fabricating three types mode I crack. simulation results show that (001) type produces two slip bands at tip; however, (110) and (111) cracks produce twins rather than tip. mechanism is slipping 1/6[112] Shockley partial dislocations consecutive {111} planes. underlying reasons band have term generalized stacking fault energy shear stress, study it can be attributed to asymmetry stress associated with system.
