摘要: The nucleotide sequence of a 12·5 kbp segment the left arm chromosome IV is described. Five open reading frames (ORFs) longer than 100 amino acids were detected, all which are completely confined to region. Two ORFs (D1271 and D1286) correspond previously sequenced genes (PPH22 VMA1 or TFP1, respectively). ORF D1298 shows characteristics α-isopropylmalate homocitrate synthase similar nifV gene Azotobacter vinelandii. more have no apparent homologue in data libraries. Conversely, two smaller 25 85 encoding ribosomal protein YL41A an ATPase inhibitor, respectively, detected. Although substantial part fragment apparently lacks protein-coding characteristics, other elements, such as tRNA transposons, found. The reported this paper will appear EMBL, GenBank DDBJ Nucleotide Sequence Databases under Accession Number X83276.
