摘要: Many parasites and pathogens alter the growth, behavior, development of insect hosts in a dramatic fashion. The invader often initially remains cryptic, until its presence later becomes obvious as host suffers major pigmetation, or morphological anomalies, shows alterations sexual differentiation behavior; develops reproductive disturbances such castration loss fecundity (see Chapters 8,9, 12; also Moore, 1993,1995; Adamo et al., 1997).
