摘要: Serum mannose-binding lectin binds to pathogens in association with a serine protease termed MASP, and this form, plays crucial role innate immunity by activating complement manner similar activation via the classical pathway. C1r C1s belong same family of proteases. In addition its presence advanced species, MASP also exists primitive life forms such as tunicates may be an evolutionary prototype family.
