Publication Productivity of University of Kerala: A Scientometric View

摘要: Web of Science is a major citation database which provides access to the world’s leading scholarly literature. University Kerala one premier higher education institutes cater educational needs Kerala. The present study evaluates research productivity based on data collected from over period thirteen years 2000 2012. This attempts analyse overall performance faculty members Departments in productivity. parameters such as form-wise, year-wise, subject-wise classification published papers, most productive authors and preferred journals, etc. are considered for study. impact factor received were also analysed. reveals that Chemistry subject produces more number papers while multi-authorship possesses lead role this subject. Indian journals publish articles followed by UK. Collaborative Coefficient varies result shows much recognised at international level.
