摘要: We survey in this communication several topics involving the use of differential‐algebraic equations (DAEs) nonlinear circuit modeling. Two model families are considered, supported on a nodal‐ and branch‐oriented approach, respectively. Concerning nodal methods, primary importance numerical simulation dynamics, we review index characterizations both passive active contexts. Branch‐oriented models make it possible to frame DAE context Bashkow’s Bryant’s classical methods for state formulation problem, as well accommodate recent techniques used set up tackle certain qualitative properties dynamics. The emphasis is mathematical framework supporting results, mainly based applied linear algebra digraph theory.
