摘要: Objective We present our experience with laparoscopic adrenalectomy for benign adrenal diseases and compare clinical outcomes the conventional open approach. Methods Between 1990 2001, two consecutive series of patients who underwent adrenal-ectomy small, were reviewed retrospectively. Patients large tumours (> 7 cm), cancer phaeochromocytoma excluded. Fifty-eight 48 had surgery diseases. Perioperative postoperative records both approaches reviewed. Results The groups comparable in terms patient age, sex, weight side lesion. common indications Conn's syndrome Cushing's syndrome. sizes tumour between (mean, 2.1 cm vs 2.4 cm). Despite longer operating time 128 minutes 87 minutes), thepostoperative morbidity, parenteral analgesic requirement length hospital stay (3.2 days 7.2 days) less undergoing adrenalectomy. also enjoyed earlier return to oral intake ambulation. There fewer complications group. was no conversion surgery. Conclusion Laparoscopic is safe has become treatment choice lesions at institution.
