摘要: Heat waves (periods of extremely hot summer weather) in the region south Moravia are focus this study. The introduced definition consists three requirements imposed on period that is considered a heat wave: at least days with T MAX ≥30.0°C must be observed; mean over whole 30.0°C; and not drop below 25.0°C. To compare severity individual waves, various characteristics (duration, number tropical days, peak temperature, cumulative temperature excess, precipitation amount) examined. wave index HWI defined to express most comprehensive way.
