摘要: Abstract Foreland basin growth strata are ideal recorders of deformation rates and kinematics in tectonically active regions. This study develops a high-resolution chronostratigraphic age model to determine folding the Eocene-Oligocene terrestrial Berga Conglomerate Group, NE Spain. The Group was sampled for rock magnetic, magnetostratigraphic, magnetic susceptibility (χ) cyclostratigraphy analyses. Analysis measurements indicate mixed mineral assemblage with both paramagnetic ferromagnetic minerals. A new reversal stratigraphy constrains time frame is agreement previous interpretations. Time series analysis χ variations show statistically significant power at expected orbital frequencies provides precession-scale (20 kyr) temporal resolution.
