摘要: Abstract Dynamic compressive response of a dendrite-reinforced Ti-based bulk metallic glass composite is investigated. Strain rate dependencies the max strength and strain energy density are illustrated. The inherent mechanisms revealed by studying dynamic deformation behaviors at lower higher rates. Under high-rate loading, fracture soft crystalline dendrites hard amorphous matrix characterized, respectively. Then, their contributions to failure material discussed. Finally, damage efficiency addressed.
