摘要: The balance between protecting users' privacy while providing cost-effective devices that are functional and usable is a key challenge in the burgeoning Internet of Things (IoT) industry. While traditional desktop mobile contexts primary user interface screen, IoT screens rare or very small, which invalidate most approaches. We examine how end-users interact with products those convey information back to users, particularly `what going on' regards their data. focus on understanding what breadth IoT, privacy, ubiquitous computing literature tells us about individuals average technical expertise can be notified privacy-related spaces they inhabit an easily understandable way. In this survey, we present review various methods available notify taking into consideration factors should involved notification alerts within physical domain. identify five main factors: (1) data type, (2) usage, (3) storage, (4) retention period, (5) method. survey also includes discussing individuals' reactions potentials provide feedback choices as response received notification. results highlight effective mechanisms for awareness data-use-practices context shared spaces.
