摘要: The blood-brain barrier (BBB) has been much more extensively investigated than the blood-nerve (BNB). Nevertheless it is clear that there are both similarities and differences in molecular morphophysiological characteristics of two systems. A number enzymes, transporters receptors have at BNB BBB, as well perineurium peripheral nerves, which also a metabolically active diffusion barrier. While few systematic comparisons distribution these molecules apparent from data available, reviewed this article, their supports concept BBB having some features common but showing distinct identities. These cannot simply be accounted for by presence inductive influences astrocytes absence BNB. Whether Schwann cell capacity to induce properties remains determined.
