摘要: Abstract The objective of this study is to characterize the foamed asphalt binders prepared using different combinations physical and chemical foaming agents. were investigated Rotational Viscosity (RV), Dynamic Shear Rheometer (DSR) expansion ratio tests. Asphalt also evaluated after short-term long-term aging conditions. During binder’s process, preheated binder was formerly a agent (either water or ethanol), followed by addition sodium bicarbonate (NaHCO3) improve bubbling stability foam. Theoretically, through numerous bubbles are generated vaporized ethanol water, gases released NaHCO3, which significantly increases volume asphalt. All produced at same temperature, 100 °C, diminish inconsistency binder-aging conditions during preheating process. Overall, results indicated that has better characteristics in lowering viscosity low temperatures expelled from continuous heating higher than its boiling point (78 °C). Although NaHCO3 slightly increased may affect workability, it substantially lowers volatile loss binders, as well improves resistance rutting.
