摘要: This study presents the performance evaluation of a horizontal air staged inclined biomass-to-heat energy (B2H) converter used for drying purposes in production paper egg-trays. The thermal properties and moisture content selected biomass such as oil palm kernel shell wood chips were assessed. influence mixture ratio (AMR) on temperature profile, flue gases composition combustion efficiency determined with Testo 350XL gas analyser. It was observed that an increase AMR led to average pyrolytic chamber but decreased exhaust, insignificant change surrounding temperature. CO, H 2 , NO x SO concentrations inversely proportional oxygen B2H exhaust. Combustion AMR. 67.00 0.34 % achieved Experiment vii. CO emissions at exhaust (Experiment-vii) met EPA regulations, is, 193.35 9.17 ppmv 9.20 0.87 ppmv, respectively. emission however, lower than NIOSH 4.57 1.08 ppmv. Thus demonstrated can be significantly reduced chips.
