摘要: Abstract Lemna Obscura (Austin) Daubs was used as a bioassay organism to test the effect of methylene blue and four fluorescein‐derivatives (substituted xanthenyl benzoates: rose bengal, eosin Y, erythrosin, fluorescein) for their sensitizers in production singlet oxygen. Growth measured area mono‐layer plant growth, which had been related fresh weight. The dye (μM) evaluated under low light levels laboratory differences change comparison with untreated plants. relative growth fraction (fraction covered after one week divided by initially) linear function known quantum yield dye‐sensitized oxygen three fluorescein dyes (r = 0.97; ρ 0.001). Erythrosin less effective than expected did not conform correlation.
