摘要: For the realistic modeling of seismic ground motion in lateral heterogeneous anelastic media, database 3-D geophysical structures for Beijing City has been built up to model City, caused by 1976 Tangshan and 1998 Zhangbei earthquakes. The hybrid method, which combines modal summation finite-difference algorithms, is used simulation. motion, both earthquakes, shows that thick Quaternary sedimentary cover amplifies peak values increases duration northwestern part City. Therefore thickness sediments key factor controling local effects. Four zones are defined on base different sediments. response spectra each zone computed, indicating spectral as high 0.1 g compatible with past seismicity can be well exceeded if an event similar 1697 Sanhe-Pinggu occurs.
