摘要: Abstract : The aim of this research project was to alleviate the tone problem in sigma delta modulators by exploiting chaos and unstable limit cycles. This achieved designing encoders with open loop poles outside unit circle. A side effect approach is possibility modulator becoming unstable, i.e., internal states unbounded. An analysis stability characteristics tonal properties chaotic double presented. Bounds on maximum were determined. It shown that behavior improved when are moved circle; however, not all spectral peaks removed. mechanism for generation identified general as a function pole location obtained. there trade off between stability, signal noise ratio performance. Audio testing along series simulations also performed compare efficacy placement more traditional removal technique dithering. Based results, design guidelines In addition above switched capacitor implementation circle considered. Initial integrated circuit verified some theoretical results modulator.
