摘要: Objective This study examined prospective data from the Third National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (NHANES III) cohort to investigate relationship between cadmium exposure cancer mortality, specific cancers associated with exposure, in general population. Methods Vital status cause of death through 31 December 2006 were obtained by Center for Statistics NHANES III participants. The concentration spot urine samples was measured corrected creatinine (uCd). Weighted Cox proportional hazards regression age as time metric applied estimate sex-specific adjusted HRs (aHRs) mortality uCd all responsible most deaths USA. Estimates stratified smoking history education, body mass index race. Results (aHR per twofold higher (95% CI), men: 1.26 (1.07 1.48); women: 1.21 (1.04 1.42)). In men, lung cancer, pancreatic non-Hodgkin lymphoma uCd; an association leukaemia suggested. women, associations suggested due leukaemia, ovarian uterine but evidence weaker than men. Conclusions Cadmium appears be overall men differ suggesting avenues future research. Limitations include possibility uncontrolled confounding cigarette or other factors, limited number some cancers.
