摘要: We have measured the metabolites (demethylated and hydroxylated) of amitriptyline in a group seven normal volunteers. They were phenotyped as extensive or poor metabolizers using debrisoquine bufuralol. The results demonstrate that oxidative metabolism (aliphatic hydroxylation) is under same genetic control However, phenotypic polymorphism cannot be used to predict blood concentration after single oral dose, since principal metabolic pathway demethylation not aliphatic hydroxylation.
