摘要: Summary  Information about on-ground vegetation restoration activities (e.g. fencing and revegetation) is critical if natural resource management (NRM) groups are to monitor progress towards targets, assess the efficacy of their interventions adaptively learn from different actions. However, in Australia, there few practical guidelines for recording data, making it difficult consistently compare actions between sites through time. Records primary information particularly important given ongoing national investment activities. With aid six-case study areas landscapes, robust tools were developed incorporated into VegTrack, a methodology, which allows develop own activity database. VegTrack differentiates spatial data attribute storing each databases (a GIS relational database system respectively). We describe process enables NRM database, provide Microsoft Access 2003 version allow commence recording. To demonstrate utility method situations encourage consistency across areas, we application several scenarios including riparian revegetation, corridors disrupted by roads infill plantings.
