摘要: Physician order entry is a key factor in improving the quality of healthcare, while simultaneously reducing its cost. This paper describes an editor, database, and run-time system for creating executing highly customized, user modifiable, templates. The allows non-programmers to create new templates rapidly. Over past 18 months, have been used on over 2500 patients enter 40,000 separate orders.
