摘要: Modern multiphase diagnostic imaging allows diagnosis of hepatocellular carcinoma with high specificity in a large proportion cases. Additional aspects tumor biology also can be evaluated noninvasively through observation behavior (growth rate, satellites, vascular invasion) and other indicators (avid uptake fluorodeoxyglucose, circulating levels markers such as alphafetoprotein). Routinely requiring biopsy confirmation for HCC exposes many patients to unnecessary risk, may delay diagnosis, some cases leads withholding potentially beneficial treatment. Biopsy assessment molecular is promising but remains investigational. When clinically evident by criteria, should not required prior initiating
