Power flow and transient stability models of FACTS controllers for voltage and angle stability studies

摘要: This paper presents transient stability and power flow models of thyristor controlled reactor (TCR) voltage sourced inverter (VSI) based flexible AC transmission system (FACTS) controllers. Models the static VAr compensator (SVC), series (TCSC), (STATCOM), synchronous source (SSSC), unified controller (UPFC) appropriate for angle studies are discussed in detail. Validation procedures obtained a test with detailed as well simplified UPFC model also presented briefly discussed.
