摘要: The objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between flatulence potencial and carbohydrate composition legume seeds. navy bean, red kidney bean wrinkled-seeded field pea induced highest levels hydrogen be produced by laboratory rat. garbanzo smooth-seeded gave intermediate values whereas mung green lentil showed which were not significantly different from control, non-flatulent diet. Significant, positive correlations determined production following chemical components: stachyose, raffinose plus glucans pentosans hydrolyzable in dilute acid. negative starch or lignin contents.
