摘要: Cyclin-dependent kinase (CDK) inhibitor genes encode low molecular weight proteins which have important functions in cell cycle regulation, development and perhaps also tumorigenesis. The first plant CDK gene ICK1 was recently identified from Arabidopsis thaliana. Although the C-terminal domain of contained an consensus sequence with mammalian p27Kip1, remainder deduced showed little similarity to any known inhibitors. In vitro assays that recombinant exhibited unique inhibitory properties. present study we characterized terms its structure, interaction both A. thaliana Cdc2a CycD3, induction by growth regulator, abscisic acid (ABA). expressed at a relatively level tissues surveyed. However, induced ABA, along there decrease Cdc2-like histone H1 activity. These results suggest mechanism division might be inhibited ABA. clones were independent yeast two-hybrid screens using CycD3 construct. implication protein could interact confirmed binding assays. Furthermore, deletion analysis indicated different regions are required for interactions CycD3. provide mechanistic basis understanding role inhibitors regulation cells.
