Design of a sensitive air quality monitoring network using an integrated optimization approach

摘要: A new method is developed to design a multi-objective and multi-pollutant sensitive air quality monitoring network (AQMN) for an industrial district. dispersion model employed estimate the ground level concentration of pollutants emitted from different emission sources. The primary objective AQMN providing maximum information about pollutant with respect (1) coverage area, (2) detection violations over ambient standards (3) sensitivity stations Ant Colony Optimization algorithm (ACO) Genetic Algorithm (GA) are adopted as optimization tools identify optimal configuration network. comparison between results ACO GA shows that performance both algorithms acceptable in finding AQMN. application existing refinery stacks indicates three suitable cover study area. station locations sources investigated database including each source created.
