摘要: Abstract Biomass of Arthrospira platensis was investigated as a raw material for d -lactic acid (D-LA) production through sequential saccharification and fermentation process with hydrolases (amylase, glucoamylase, cellulase) the lactogenic Escherichia coli strain JU15. The study performed an initial 10% load (w/w) dry A. platensis, containing 35% total carbohydrate. Enzymatic carried out in two steps, first α-amylase glucoamylase blend then cellulase cocktail to release glucose. After enzymatic (40 h), approximately 30 g L−1 glucose were released. These hydrolysates converted -lactogenic E. JU15, producing 25.5 g L−1 -lactate, which reached 86% theoretical conversion lactate after only 9 h 0.255 gD-LA g−1 dried biomass.
