摘要: Background and purpose: Diabetes mellitus is a common metabolic disease, currently affecting more than 280 million people worldwide. Centaurea cyanus known as cornflower has antioxidant properties used in traditional medicine lowering blood sugar. This study aimed at determining the biochemical histopathological changes serum kidneys of diabetic rats treated with hydroalcoholic extract cyanus. Materials methods: In this study, 60 male Wistar were divided into five groups (n= 12 per group). was induced by alloxan. The for 8 weeks hydro alcoholic C. two concentrations (400 800 mg/kg). Results: Histopathological examination showed that similar to control group, there no significant histolological features group receiving mg/kg 400 mild tubular changes.
