摘要: The target specificities of natural killer (NK) cells induced in mice by lymphocytic choriomeningitis virus (LCMV) were examined. All continuous and early passage cell lines tested lysed LCMV-induced NK cells, regardless the cell9s origin (syngeneic, allogeneic, xenogeneic) or morphology (epithelia, fibroblast, lymphoblast, neuroblast, teratoma). Continuous line targets LCMV- vaccinia virus-induced from all strains mice. Some more sensitive to lysis than other targets, but this relative sensitivity did not vary with strain mouse donating effectors time after inducing infection. appear recognize LCMV antigens on surface infected nor could any correlation be made between retrovirus antigen expression susceptibility lysis. In contrast apparent lack specificity lysing lines, we confirmed that some demonstrated using cold inhibition experiments. When primary peritoneal used as different had restricted ranges specificities. most homozygous heterologous at much higher efficiency isologous was directly related H-2. both lysed. We hypothesize there may two types recognition mechanisms population: one is “nonspecific,” resulting transformed another “specific,” a selective cells. vague sometimes against experiments explained if also expressed specific sites found
