摘要: Objective Delusional-like experiences (DLE) are prevalent in the community. Recent community based studies have found that DLE more common those with depression and anxiety disorders, subclinical symptoms of anxiety. Chronic physical disorders associated comorbid anxiety; however, there is a lack evidence about association conditions. The aim this study was to explore associations between using large population sample. Methods Subjects were drawn from Australian National Survey Mental Health Wellbeing 2007, national household survey 8841 residents aged 16 85 years. presence DLE, selected assessed modified World Composite International Diagnostic Interview (CIDI) schedule. We examined relationship health-related variables logistic regression, adjustments for potential confounding factors. Results Of 8771, 776 (8.4%) subjects positively endorsed one or DLE. Of six examined, only diabetes arthritis significantly endorsement seven broad explored, hearing problems consistently DLE. Conclusion community, chronic impaired hearing. direction causality these warrants closer research scrutiny.
