Influence of modelling on calculated sea loads on ships

摘要: Abstract Differences in numerical estimations introduced by various levels of approximations the formulation sea loads on ships are presented and commented. Twenty two compared, they range from rough approximation so-called “static wave” to a non-linear 3D time-domain code. The results mainly focus extreme but direct consequences fatigue also tackled.
