摘要: A process for manufacturing mirrors comprising notching the backside of a plate and etching it from one or both sides. The front side is plated polished to flat mirror-like-like surface. made glass rods that have been fused together in bundle then heated stretched. One rods, near center, being susceptible while others are not. Therefore, when rod drawn out, they will neck-down become very fine. When center has down to, example, about five mils diameter, neck harvested above plates, by slicing out wafers at an angle, e.g., 45°. etchants attack rod, but not those surround it, due their chemical properties. result sharply formed aperture hole any desired diameter.
