摘要: Herbs, vitamins, and other natural health products are being used by cancer patients survivors with increasing prevalence in the United States. These complementary alternative medicine (CAM) products, which also referred to as Canada abroad, during treatment survivorship period ease burden of symptoms such pain, fatigue, insomnia, anxiety, depression hence improve overall quality life. Data indicate that while choose these for self-treatment, they often do not inform their health-care providers, thereby presenting potential negative interactions. This article gives an overview CAM including discussion herbs, supplements minerals, enzymes, more. Related research is presented, implications advanced practitioners discussed. Insights into guiding safe effective use among well appropriate decision-making strategies explored.
